Our fall series will lead us in training our desires to want the things of God. Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount that “The eye is the lamp of the body.” In other words, how we see the world affects everything. So, instead of negatively training our eyes not to look at certain things (“Thou shalt not”), we will use the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer to positively focus our eyes on the good things God wants us to want.
