“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16). This great verse presents the heart of the Christian Gospel, people must believe in Jesus for eternal life. When we witness to Jesus and His kingdom, we are inviting people to believe, but the journey to belief may be long and made up of many small steps. This morning we’ll see Jesus present this great truth but also invite a person with questions to take the next step in faith.
