Longing for...a New Shepherd Sunday, November 28, 2021

First Sunday of Advent - Advent is a time of looking forward to the coming of Christ both in a Bethlehem manger and in the fullness of his kingdom when he returns to make all things new. We too are in the process of being made new in the attitudes of our minds and we are to put on the new self. From the prophet Ezekiel we will see God at work renewing creation and be called to submit ourselves to that renewal process. God offers renewal as a shepherd gathers, guides, heals, and protects his sheep. Will we as sheep follow Jesus, the Good Shepherd?
