Hope for the Humble Sunday, November 26, 2023

Today we are beginning our observation of Advent a week earlier than the official church calendar. This season we will be taking our Advent lessons from the songs recorded in Luke 1 & 2. We begin with the song of Mary which comes after the angel’s announcement that she will give birth to the eternal king and is confirmed by Elizabeth. The sermon text will focus on the hope that the announcement of the coming birth of Jesus brings to the world.
