Gifts and Tasks Sunday, May 4, 2025

Following up on our Discipleship series we look today at 1 Corinthians chapter 12 which is the quintessential passage on spiritual gifts and the church as a body – each part caring for and relying on the others. As a church body, Immanuel has many tasks that need to be accomplished. We seek to complete these tasks using the best of our spiritual gifts. However, as a body we must together own all of the tasks involved in our ongoing ministry. Each of us must ask, “What are my gifts and responsibilities for the body?”
