The Proof that you Belong Sunday, July 5, 2026

This morning, we welcome Mr. William Aranas to our pulpit. Mr. Aranas teaches Bible and English as Western Christian High School and has recently received his license to exhort from Classis Heartland. We will consider the three evidences that believers truly belong to the family of God. First, God’s children pursue the Spirit’s leading. Second, believers plead to the Father, enjoying the privileges of adoption and confidently crying, “Abba, Father.” Third, believers partake in Christ’s sufferings and glory, enduring trials with the assurance that they are heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ. Believers in Jesus Christ find assurance of their sonship in the work of the Triune God—the Spirit who leads, the Father who adopts, and the Son with whom believers share an eternal inheritance.
