Uncomfortable Vulnerability Sunday, July 26, 2026
Nobody likes to be vulnerable. Yet we cannot make deep connections without allowing it. The Bible calls Christians into authentic, vulnerable community and not to mask our needs, quirks, and imperfections. Jesus prays that all of us may be one and that we will be brought to complete unity to let the world know Jesus was sent by the Father. James calls us to confess our sins to one another. Paul describes the church as a body, while Peter and Paul both describe it as a living temple for the Holy Spirit. All of these things only come with true, authentic community.
