John the Baptist Testifies About Jesus Sunday, January 9, 2022

As Christians, just who are we? We have celebrated the coming of Jesus and done so in light of his death and resurrection. We are an Easter people. We do not stick our heads in the sand and pretend that everything in life is always good. We know darkness and death, poverty and pain. But we also know that Jesus has defeated sin and death and has passed through his own pain to the glory of resurrection. We’ll spend the next several weeks considering people from the Gospels who were transformed by Jesus and using them to explore how we live as Easter people. This week, the mysterious John the Baptist.
