With war in Palestine many people are wondering about Israel’s role in the end times. In the big picture we see the church as the recipient of the promises to Israel as the people of God – thus in Galatians Paul says, “Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. In Romans, Paul talks about the ethnic people of Israel alongside the church hoping for his people’s salvation and suggesting that even as broken branches they can be grafted back in. What is clear is that all who are saved are saved by faith in Jesus Christ for their salvation.
