Goodness vs. Selfishness Sunday, February 26, 2023

In Luke 6 Jesus reminds us that a person speaks and acts from the overflow of their heart. So, if we are to bear the fruit of goodness we must allow the goodness of the Holy Spirit to fill us to overflowing. If we rely on our own resources we will have no source from which to produce this fruit for what comes naturally to human beings is not goodness but selfishness.
