Fourth Sunday of Advent: This morning’s message is for all of us who are worn out, dried out, feeling like there is no life left in us and we are dead inside. Ezekiel is taken by the LORD to a valley of dry, sun-bleached bones; this is a picture of the desolation of God’s people. Yet, as Ezekiel speaks the Word of the LORD life returns. Jesus has come to renew his people and to give life to those who were dried out and dead. Our hope for life now and for eternity is built on Jesus putting life into us.
