Have you ever had two close friends who were in a dispute with each other? Now you find yourself "caught in the middle"--a most uncomfortable role to be sure. Yes...an important opportunity to begin the process of beautiful healing, but fraught with peril. This was the predicament for the apostle Paul as he begins the brief but practical epistle to Philemon. The ministry of reconciliation takes both the form of outreach and restoration as Paul elects to live out the challenge of 2 Corinthians 5: "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors". What are some ways that we can follow this example in our own discipleship?
